Job Description

The Head of People & Culture role is part of the business Leadership Team (LT) and, as a member of the LT, you will participate in business planning and strategy whilst performing a key day-to-day operational role. You will therefore be responsible for meeting both team and business level KPIs.

Reporting to the Managing Director, day-to-day you will have overall functional responsibility for talent recruitment and selection, HR processes and procedures, staff engagement, retention, training, and wellbeing, as well as general office management.

You will line manage administrative staff and work directly with team managers providing support and guidance to ensure the smooth running of the company from a people perspective.

You will be responsible for our recruitment and selection strategy, identifying new and innovative ways to fill our growth needs. This will involve training and supporting team managers as they interview and select candidates for their teams. We need the Right People in the Right Seats playing to their Unique Ability, this will be your goal.

You will be responsible for shaping and maintaining our staff benefits program as well as our performance management system and staff wellbeing reviews. Working with the Managing Director and finance department, you will facilitate payroll, bonuses, promotions and pay reviews. You are responsible for the creation and upkeep of HR processes and procedures and ensuring compliance across the company. You will advise senior management on HR and employment legislation.

You will gather training and development requirements form team managers and devise a training program that meets the Company’s growth requirements.

As a senior manager, you will act as a day-to-day cultural ambassador & role model for our Company’s values; creating a fun & challenging environment, you will always be expected to behave in line with our values & represent the business to clients appropriately.

  • Recruitment experience, including interviewing for technical roles and developing innovative ways of sourcing and attracting candidates.

  • Be able to handle highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way.
