Our client requires an enthusiastic, ambitious and driven HR Coordinator (ideally CIPD qualified -minimum Level 3) to assist the Head of HR in providing an agile, committed and capable Human Resources service to all employees at every stage of the employee lifecycle.
Self-driven and dedicated to delivering the best HR service possible every day, the successful candidate will take personal responsibility for driving change and improvements in all aspects of HR under the guidance and support of the Head of HR.
Confident in multi-tasking, you will take ownership of tasks and never be afraid of making a mistake whilst providing the tools, systems, processes and practices that enable managers and employees to work in the most efficient and effective way possible.
You will challenge yourself to be the best you can be within a technology and consulting focused organisation, learning and adapting to the challenges and tasks faced every day. You will be confident in raising ideas and challenges when necessary and articulate HR best practice clearly to managers.
You will be able to build strong working relationships and be approachable to all employees. You will be comfortable in engaging with all levels across the business and possess excellent influencing and negotiating skills to implement the HR policies.
Responsibilities (all in collaboration and partnership with the Head of HR)
•• Delivering a smooth and high end recruitment and onboarding experience for (and with
managers for their new starters)
•Tasks to include: Finalising job descriptions; liaising with recruitment agencies; co-ordinating interview and candidate contact through to contract preparation; coordinating the days leading up to, and including, the first days with the organisation; ensuring managers understand and carry out their responsibilities towards their new team member; new starters have all the “tools needed for the job” and ensuring that the probationary period is managed effectively to its conclusion in line with relevant policies .
·Make HR as efficient and effective as it can be through the use of available technologies
o Tasks to include: Ensuring the HR system is accurate, and functionality used optimally; HR management information is produced as required; support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and improvement systems such as employee retention an incentive programmes.
·Monitor the effective implementation of a performance and learning driven culture throughout the employee lifecycle whilst holding colleagues true to company values.
o Tasks to include: Oversee the performance management system, monitoring and reporting on performance management and learning and development information.
•Coordinate and ensure key employee administration and wellbeing processes are completed
on a timely basis
o Tasks to include: Coordinating benefit and payroll administration in conjunction with
outsourced payroll provider and Finance; maintaining employee records; ensuring a leavers last
experience of the organisation is a good one; ensuring regulatory employment and health &
safety compliance is met.
