Job Description

Join a busy, enthusiastic and solutions-focussed People & OD team whilst providing expert HR advice and guidance throughout the full employee journey.

Bringing a professional attitude and keen attention to detail, you will confidently coach managers in resolution and ER concerns whilst building strong internal stakeholder relationships.

 

This is a 6 month FTC

Are you ready to join a fantastic People and OD Team that is enthusiastic, solution-focused, and works collaboratively with Faculties and Departments?

 

We are looking for a proactive People Adviser to join our People & Organisational Development team, supporting a diverse professional services workforce. A People Adviser who shares our commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and empathetic leadership.

 

As a People Adviser, you will:

  • Provide expert guidance and advice throughout the full employee journey, ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Coach managers in early resolution and formal employee relations concerns, fostering a supportive environment where employees can thrive.
  • Utilise your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships and effectively address People and OD matters.
  • Demonstrate high levels of organisational skills to manage your time efficiently and handle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Bring a professional attitude and keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of your work.
  • You will support our efforts to promote well-being, diversity, and a shared sense of belonging, while also contributing to effective change management processes.

 

If you have experience providing generalist HR advice and coaching managers on people matters and employee relations and are passionate about promoting a supportive and inclusive workplace, we would very much like to hear from you. We are currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on site for at least 2 days per week. We offer a number of employee benefits including a generous pension scheme and generous annual leave allowance.
