HR Transformational Lead: Performance (Attraction & Recruitment)
Human Resourcing Ltd is once again delighted to be assisting Swansea University with its ongoing search for talent within an employer of choice. Human Resources at Swansea University is an award winning Department, having won four national awards. The HR community is in the midst of a challenging transformation in the way it delivers its services across the University, in order to support the University’s strategic vision.
In partnership with other Transformational Leads, this individual will be responsible for the University’s People Performance agenda, with particular focus on developing innovative ways to attract and recruit talented individuals with pace. Highly visible and role modelling exceptional leadership, they will develop capability and insight in advance of organisation need. They will shape and align the flexible and aspirational Performance function based on a long term view of the organisation’s direction, shaping and aligning the Performance strategy accordingly.
Acting with a strong sense of purpose and a dynamic vision for attracting and recruiting talent, they will confidently advise and challenge senior leaders utilising their professional expertise. They will continually evaluate their own impact, that of their team and of the overall function in order to improve as a professional and drive sustainable performance.
1.Demonstrable evidence of creating a culture that delivers successful outcomes through people, developing and challenging teams to succeed and take pride in delivering professional services and solutions.
2.Ability to enable teams to work together and across functions to deliver successful outcomes that exceed the needs and expectations of customers, and in creating environments that demonstrate equality, foster trust, respect and challenge.
3.Demonstrable experience of creating environments that identify, understand and give priority to delivering the needs of the customer, and in motivating and inspiring teams to provide the highest standards of personalised care.
4.Executive coaching qualification or significant relevant experience with a commitment to qualify within the next 24 months
5.A current CIPD membership qualification or significant relevant experience with a commitment to qualify within the next 24 months
6.Proven track record of developing innovative ways to identify, attract and recruit talented, specialist people.
7.Evidence of building excellent relationships with potential candidates.
8.Evidence of successful leadership of a performance function, developing and implementing strategic Performance agenda at an organisational level and influencing key stakeholders to support implementation
9.Proven track record of role modelling leadership behaviours at a senior level, showing courage and confidence to speak up skilfully and challenge others even when confronted with resistance utilising professional expertise
10.Proven experience of continual professional development, taking personal responsibility for seeking and acting on feedback to learn and develop as a professional
11.Evidence of applying continuous improvement principles and using meaningful people KPIs to review the strategic agenda in order to add organisational value
12.Evidence of using coaching to drive performance
13.Evidence of designing, delivering and evaluating training and facilitation interventions that are impactful and deliver high quality outcomes
14.Evidence of successfully leading a team, creating a culture that motivates others to be innovative, outcome focussed and perform effectively to maximise the growth of the organisation
15.Evidence of engaging in horizon scanning and professional networks, benchmarking and identifying research trends and innovative approaches to enable improvement
16.Ability to communicate in Welsh.
