Learning & Development Manager
Our client requires a brand new Learning and Development Manager to develop, design, deliver and evaluate organisational learning and development programmes to meet the strategic aims of the organisation whilst driving employee engagement.
Reporting to the Director of Specialist Support Services (based in Cardiff), the successful candidate will be a member of the Leadership Team and will be responsible for a Learning & Development Co-ordinator plus a Senior Advisor.
NB This permanent position can be flexibly based at a preferred location of choice inline with the organisations many sites throughout the UK including: CARDIFF, SWANSEA, POWYS, PEMBROKESHIRE, CARMARTHENSHIRE, SHROPSHIRE, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE or NORTHAMPTONSHIRE but this is NOT a regional role. Our client also operates a popular flexi-hours working system across all sites.
·Accomplished Learning & Development practitioner with a track record of leading on key initiatives and interventions from design to delivery
·Minimum of 3 years in a learning environment
·Proven experience as a Learning & Development manager
·Experience of identifying training needs
·Experience of developing, delivering, managing and evaluating training activities
·Experience of presenting information to groups/individuals, both formally and informally.
·Experience of producing and adapting training materials
·Educated to degree level or equivalent
·Professionally L&D Qualified, or CIPD qualified
·Certificate in Training Practice (C.I.P.D)
·Level 4 NVQ Learning and Development, or equivalent.
