Part-Time HR Consultant
Our central Cardiff based professional services client requires a credible and confident HR Consultant with a wealth of knowledge and experience to join its HR and Employment Law team. Reporting to the Head of Employment, you will provide a full & comprehensive advisory/consultancy service to external SME clients. In addition to which you will be responsible for any aspect of internal HR employee relations matters and related issues.
You will be based close to the train station and an NCP car park which is heavily subsidised.
You will be pro-active in your approach and self-generate your client base within a huge corporate /commercial department. You will offer a high-quality HR service providing first-class HR advice and guidance around the implementation and achievement of best practice standards and the meeting of legal requirements passing over to Employment Lawyers where necessary.
You will be hungry and ambitious and keen to build up the business. You will be creative, and think out of the box, you will be investigative and identify gaps in the structure of client companies. You will adopt a holistic approach to cross selling utilising the strengths and connections of the existing core business. No two days will be the same and you will be presented with a role full of variety involving networking, collaboration and putting external services together to suit client needs.
The identification of training & development needs will be a key part of this role. You will manage approved training programmes and organise the delivery of training and topical seminars and presentations whilst evaluating results.
