Human Resourcing Reflect on 2018

As the year draws to a close, we take this time to reflect on the highlights of what’s been a very successful 2018 for Human Resourcing.

At the core of our business lies our commitment to offer a totally honest, personal recruitment service to both our clients and candidates. We believe that our success this year has once again been down to this.

Throughout the year we’ve worked closely with our clients to truly get a feel for their business; it’s culture, values and vision for the future. We’ve carefully considered each and every aspect in order to find the perfect candidate for the role. We have also built fantastic working relationships with those looking to us for a new position, treating each person as an individual and delving deeper to find out exactly what they want from a career. Bridging that gap and finding that match is what makes us tick and having received some hugely complimentary feedback from both clients and candidates we are confident that our work has been a success.

Our increasingly popular breakfast seminars have been a brilliant way to connect with past, present and future clients in an informal, but informative setting. The topics covered have included Employment Law Updates, Equal Opportunities and Dignity and work to name a few, and knowledge has been shared from the experts at Capital Law. We also co-hosted a seminar with Talk HR Solutions, discussing Organisation Transformation and Outplacement Support. Each meeting has sparked much discussion and debate and it’s been brilliant to hear the voices of so many HR professionals on some key topics.

As specialist recruiters in Human Resourcing and Training and Development roles, we become aware of the issues and concerns faced by HR teams and the wider industry. Many of these topics are covered at our breakfast seminars, however we wanted to provide more regular, easily accessible information to HR professionals. This year we launched the Human Resourcing blog (found on our website) and dedicated Twitter account where we share daily advice and opinion on many relevant HR issues, we hope that these have been a useful tool for our connections.

Being passionate about the industry and its people, we always look for ways to demonstrate our support and in November we sponsored the award for “Best In-house team” at the CIPD Wales Awards. This is the second year we have been involved with sponsorship at the event and it was a pleasure to play a small part in recognising the incredible talent and innovative work that goes on in Wales. We have also committed to sponsoring the category for “Best HR Initiative” at the Wales HR 2019, something that we are very excited about.

Something that has stood out this year is that the talent in Wales’ HR industry is unrivalled! It has been a pleasure recruiting for our clients and working with those talented individuals to find them the right role. Thanks to everyone we’ve worked with and we look forward to building on these successes next year.

All the best from Human Resourcing!
