Job Description
Supporting the OH&WB Manager with the delivery of an exciting and brand-new wellbeing strategy, confidentiality and integrity is paramount in this data-driven role.
A confident communicator you will work with the OH provider to deliver KPIs whilst collaborating with HR, the Comms’ team, key stakeholders & unions.
You will focus on best practice, employee engagement, identifying trends, managing clinical interventions & assessments whilst delivering updates.
12 month FTC.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the delivery of OH provision and wellbeing projects by collaborating with the HR, Safety, and Communications teams to ensure comprehensive planning, resource allocation, and effective communication.
- Develop, maintain and promote the OH and wellbeing calendar by working with the Communications team to ensure that there is consistent employee engagement with OH and wellbeing initiatives.
- Work with the OH provider to deliver KPI’s and meet SLA’s in line with industry standards by monitoring progress through data analysis, regular updates, and using feedback to improve the delivery of services.
- Manage necessary clinical interventions or assessments by providing administrative support to ensure effective and timely assistance for colleagues and managers.
- Identify trends and deliver updated feedback within the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) through analysing performance data to ensure that all aspects of the EAP proposition is delivering in line with our internal SLA’s and the Company’s strategic plan.
- Lead the continuous development of the Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) and wellbeing champion proposition by providing information and resources to support the delivery of the future plan.
- Keep up to date with best practice across the industry by developing union partnerships, exploring and implementing opportunities for joint initiatives, whilst regularly monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage our internal people system by keeping our people data up to date, accurate and compliant to ensure confidentiality and timely reporting.
- Manage OH and wellbeing communication by working in collaboration with the Communications team to deliver updates and engage employees through digital platforms to ensure clarity and adherence across all levels of the organisation.
- Keep up to date with information regarding your own professional development in OH and Wellbeing through undertaking and attending any relevant training to improve subject matter knowledge.

The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Advisor will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Occupational Health and Wellbeing initiatives across the business.
The role will contribute to the success of the team by delivering and maintaining clear, impartial support in line with policies enabling the team to deliver Occupational Health and Wellbeing services.
AUTONOMY AND DECISION-MAKING
The role will operate in line with OH industry standards (RSSB/ORR), People and Culture and Wellbeing strategic plans and will have the opportunity to influence the direction of Occupational Health and Wellbeing activities and policies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED FOR THE POST
Essential:
- Proven work experience within a People, Wellbeing, or similar role.
- Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
- Personable with communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise and manage workload.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes.
- Detail-oriented and organised.
Desirable:
- Proven work experience as an Occupational Health Advisor or Wellbeing Advisor.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry.
- Welsh language skills.
