People Team Leader

A newly created opportunity to lead day-to-day HR delivery and help shape a growing people function.
Our client is a rapidly expanding, manufacturing organisation whose headcount has almost doubled. They are looking for a People Team Leader to join their Swansea factory and support the next stage of growth. Reporting to the Head of People, you will manage and support the operational HR team, providing clear direction whilst overseeing day-to-day generalist HR activity, including ER and absence management. - Lead and support the people team, helping them prioritise a busy workload.
- Drive recruitment activity to support continued expansion.
- Put practical HR processes in place and improve existing ways of working.
- Support people initiatives, which could include job evaluation.
- Work closely with the Head of People to turn business priorities into action.
Manufacturing experience would be helpful, as would experience within an SME or an organisation undergoing growth. Experience in employee relations and absence management would also be an advantage.
