Job Description

Our international manufacturing client requires a confident HR self-starter to support with recruitment, disciplinaries, grievances etc. You will be a strong ER generalist including training administration and recruitment and possess excellent skills in Excel and Word.

Successful Applicant

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Updating and entering employment data into the new HRIS – Dayforce
  • Organising meetings and taking minutes on Teams and in-person.
  • Supporting recruitment – may include travel to two sites in South Wales, but predominant working week on site at Lydney Plant.
  • Dealing with all UK recruitment – using iCIMS, updating job descriptions, drafting offers of employment, ensuring the paperwork is complete and on file
  • Setting up training events and co-ordinating delegates
  • HR data reporting
  • Creating a staff handbook – linking electronic policies and procedures
  • Co-ordinating logistics for new hire orientations, checking RTW documentation
  • Co-ordinating the Employee Engagement Survey – using Survey Monkey, analysing data and preparing draft results.

 

Skills & Experience

 

Minimum1-2 years’ experience of working in an administrative role (preference is HR), utilising different systems and working with confidential information.

  • Interpersonal skills
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking database systems
  • Knowledge of human resources
  • Have experience of handling confidential information is imperative

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 GCSE’s
  • Level 3 CIPD or working towards
  • Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills to intermediate level

  • Salary: to c. £27,000 dependent on experience
